Sometimes that pause allows time for contemplation, to tweak something, to slightly change course or just to have a breather and reset, or to heal.

We can use this moment also to look back and learn. If it's a pattern... hast this happened before? Why? Do you tend to take off at high speed and energy dwindles? Are you being reasonable to yourself?

We can use a dip or plateau in a very effective way. Every emotion and experience is valuable. Reflect on the build up before the drop or plateau, to understand the situation and see if there’s any learning or insights going forward. In which case, we emerge stronger and more productive, wiser!

Flow with the water... let it lead your inspiration

here will always be a plateau and a dip in anything that you set out to do. This is why changes habits can be hard. But not impossible.

Don’t admit defeat, but listen to your mind and body and accept where you are, keeping the vision in mind. Remember your intention, write it down if you haven't already. Perhaps explore it more, why? for who? Why bother?

TASK - no main task today, just the option to try the cord cutting meditation (above). This can be done time and time again for different people, places or thought patterns etc. One at once.

blog - cordcutting

This blog is to go with the cord-cutting meditation as optional additional reading. Note down 0/10 how it felt.

When you feel you are ready to remove something it can sometimes be helpful to shift the mindset around it. This is actually a huge percentage of the work. In hypnotherapy, we are taught that the subconscious is 88% of our whole mind. Only 12% is our conscious thinking mind. The subconscious is 9000 more powerful.

This means if we can start to implement new ideas into our subconscious we are way more likely to succeed. I recommend listening to supportive audios or affirmations in the car (once we are back in the driving seat). We are in a kind of hypnotic state when we drive so this is perfect. But we can also consciously go there through meditation.

This week we will be embedding some of your personal affirmations into the meditations that I do live on the last day.

Here's another suggestion for having a themed day. What does 'nature' day sound like to you? It can be spending the day outdoors, even under a covering and a blanket if it's a cold day, is it walking outdoors whatever the weather or in your garden.

If you don't have access to outdoors, in a city or a flat can you get some lovely plants to look after, order yourself some flowers to look at, grow some cress! Watch a nature programme and so on...

Or any physical books, not just audio. I love ‘The Earth Children’ series by Jean Auel, which is about caveman times, psychology of people, love, the earth and it’s healing properties and ancient times. I named my daughter after the main character, Ayla.

She is strong, physically and mentally yet very nurturing. This is definitely Ayla. And I wouldn’t want her any other way. For she is basically a mini me! Although she will tower over me when she’s older

But I mainly read about people and psychology in non-fiction; belief systems, personality types, tools and techniques, passion and purpose and living the life you want, healing yourself and so on.

‘The Spontaneous Healing of Belief’ by Gregg Braden is still one of my favourites for mindset shifting. What are yours?
