What does creativity mean to you? Is it a mindset? Seeing things different? Finding solutions? Is it expressing yourself through music or dance? Is it creating something out of nothing like cooking, baking, crochet, or random bits of stuff from around the house?

I think it’s also about losing yourself in the moment. I love painting but I’m also looking forward to making Ayla a fun game out of all the finished toilet rolls I have saved. I’ll send pics. Send me yours too!

If you are looking after others a lot (doesn't have to be just kids), or you are consumed by the 'noise' in the media and more... it's important to take a break from it. Including the group.

You know what you need to do each day, you can take a quick look if need be, then switch off.

Be mindful of when people, places or things start to draw on your emotions or energy...and when that feels bad. Or when you feel uplifted and begin to be more aware without judgement in yourself or others. A phrase I like to say is

‘That’s interesting....’ It neutralises the feeling.
