Day 5 - Willing to be Willing

#video7yoga

Here’s a yoga class you can do right from your bed! I created because I find that we all get lethargic, even the most active of us, yet if we can just begin to start moving gently, then we can get those positive hormones flowing, connect back to our breath and feel a sense of accomplishment - before we even get up.

If mornings don’t work for you, try any of the others at a different time of day, figure out your preferences and mood, as well as what works for your ‘usual’ schedule and current schedule. Mark down how you felt before 0/10 and after in your journal and any other insights. You will literally see my bed head here! Or as I call it now, my every day ‘lockdown look’.

Here’s the link to all. Yoga videos:

WATER DAY!
Cleanse, Tone and Protect!

Today we are exploring a theme for the day! We welcome you to explore the cleansing property of water!  Remember these are only suggestions, you don't have to do them all :) and it doesn't have to be today. We will explore different themes over the next few days:

  • Drink 2/3 pints of water per day, with or without lemon, maybe mint, or lavender

  • Limit caffeine, try other teas

  • Bath (if you have) with salts and aromatherapy (see blog from day 2), or foot spa, face steam

  • Walk near water - sea, lake, stream or water fountain

  • Listen to water sound meditations

  • Goldenseal is a great herb for cleansing the urinary system

Here’s a great little morning ritual. When you get into the shower, say to yourself that you are

  • Cleanse: cleanse any unwanted feelings, emotions or energies from the day before or from your sleep. Let the water wash it away

  • Tone: add in what you do what to feel, maybe an intention for the day, and absorb that through the water as it runs over you

  • Protect: create a protective bubble around you that protects you from any negativity, for the day.

Can be done in bath too.

It might be that planning doesn't work for you, but spontaneity does. Or a mix of both.  Journal about what style you find the most beneficial overall.

What are you going to go for? Let me know below it will help to give people ideas for themselves.

Note down 0 - 10 how it felt

TASK: Today we are going to have a think about what we would like to introduce as a theme for each day, alongside the tasks.  Again, it’s just an additional option.  This reminds us that we have choices.  That we can’t do it all, and that we need to pick.

There are 5-6 days remaining, so you can pick 5 of the remaining
