Women's Well-being Day

A Well-being Day on 29th August.

We are excited to announce that tickets are now on sale.  This will be a day of chilling, with a nice and casual vibe. Fairly small and intimate yet with lots of space to roam and keep distance! Set in the vibrational energy of the woodland of Halkyn Castle Woods - just 20 mins from Chester.

In the Mindful Meadow we will have shelter for our classes or you can choose to lay in the sun. For our workshops/ talks we will have a woodland camp area where there will be hammocks in the trees too, ponchos, and seat pads. A taster of what’s coming…

There will be a handful of stalls to buy a few bits but we are focusing more on an experiential day!

You have the choice to bring your own picnic or have food provided, which we will need to know no later than 20th August. You’ll need to bring your own mats, blankets and water bottles which can be filled with water available all day.

There is free parking available and guides to help you find where you need to park but it’s very easy to find. We will add pics on the guide and agenda that we will send out.

Food options will be both vegetarian options and more snacks like pizzas. We will ask for your order in advance. Where you have sensitivities it might be worth selecting non-food option until we release the menu in which case you can always add-on the food.

This 5 day series will take place daily and cover a range of mindfulness exercises. Each session will begin at 8pm and last for half an hour and consists of a short introductory talk then a mindfulness practice.

Each day will be slightly different, following this schedule:

Just as colour is a wavelength, so are all aromas. Anything that you smell has a vibration, including essential oils. When you inhale an essential oil, the odour molecules vibrate through the nose at a certain wavelength and affect the brain through a variety of receptor sites, one of which is the limbic system, or the “emotional brain”.

We have simplified the use of aromatherapy and chromotherapy by formulating 14 ready-to-use combinations of essential oils. Each synergy representing a unique colour and a promise of emotional well-being.

Take time out for some deep sonic healing for your body mind and spirit

Bring a mat and warm blanket and pillow for to ensure you are warm and totally comfortable. Ideally please use headphones to give you a surround sound immersion or if using a speaker ensure it is in a central position to your body to maximise balance of sound vibrations to left and right sides of ther body. Ensure you can lie down and be undisturbed for around 45 mins Lie on a thick mat or two yoga mats and have a blanket and cushion to hand so you can be as comfortable and warm as neccesary for optimum relaxation Tom Shanti is an experienced sound healer and Gong bath facilitator .
