Good morning everyone.
Today I want to work with the concept of ‘I am’. This is mixing gentle movement and affirmations together. Words are powerful, this is one of the reasons I love NLP so much.
Maybe you have big stuff going on, or maybe you’re just not ‘feeling it’. But you always have a choice on how you live out your day and the best version of it that it can be!
Stay with me, get over the hurdle. Today we are going to work with gratitude and a ‘wine’ down’. That’s right, a little glass of red wine for me on Friday evening with you. Go with what feels right for you though, if you’re having a detox or don’t drink alcohol, how about make your favourite warm drink and snuggle down?

topic of the day: self-care
An interesting subject… which we often associate with relaxation. BUT! It’s also about our discipline (a subject taught in the 8 Limbs of Yoga - which is also in our ‘Going Deeper with Yoga - 10 Day Reset’). What we want might not always be what we need. What is painful, might not be in the long run. Cryptic words there but it’s all about increasing our consciousness through our awareness when we start to see these things and as we open up our 3rd eye.
Below is a video I’ve been sharing for years. I shared it a lot when I worked in corporate and delivered leadership training. I still find this so inspirational and wanted to share this with you as a moving visual related to the progress curve from yesterday.
Get the right balance between doing and being. Both are acts of self-care. Only you know what is right at each time, just keep you goal in mind :) and remember it’s the endurance and consistency that keeps us going. EVEN if we step away from it for a long time, we are STILL on our upward curve.
