Day 4 wedneSday

Welcome to day 4. Today we will be doing our evening yoga with a Q & A session to connect together like on the kick-off Sunday night.

However, we will still have our morning motivation, today is 8am (5-10 mins)

7pm evening chat and yoga (60m+)

The Philosophy today is Gods & Goddesses and this is posted at the bottom of this page.

The Breath we will do today is again Analum Nelum (4, 4, 8), we will do this together but below is a little reminder.

To practice alternate nostril breathing:

  1. Sit in a comfortable position with your legs crossed.

  2. Place your left hand on your left knee.

  3. Lift your right hand up toward your nose.

  4. Exhale completely and then use your right thumb to close your right nostril.

Let’s start to think about what is coming up for us and how we can shift our mind and patterns with a reframing exercise that we will do in the morning motivation but I have highlighted below for your reference:

  • start to write down your negative self-talk

  • for the whole day (or 2 days) pay attention to what you say (but that you don’t say out loud)

  • Notice especially the things you say to yourself when you are upset. Write them down (even if they feel painful) because healing is facing the pain

  • Perhaps carry your note book around or type them into a note on your phone

    • e.g. you ate 3 doughnuts for breakfast ‘I am fat, ugly, no will power’

  • After, sit with your list and count up the regularity. Anything more than 2/3 of the same is a record you are playing over and over and reinforcing

  • You can also rank most frequent to give you an idea of your predominant thought

  • Write down an opposite and empowering phrase

  • Then make more….it will help you to understand what you want from your life

  • Then begin to reframe how you see things

We will touch upon reframing and NLP a little, however this is more linked to the 10 Day Reset on Mindset & Perspective, but it’s good to have some focus points for your journaling.

You don’t have to follow the above, it’s all a choice to see where you’d like to go with your journaling.
