Going into Your Wild

  • The Forge corwen Cae Einion (map)

Nic and Melody are beyond delighted to bring to you their very first collaboration. Into your wild.

We invite you to our sacred lands, the area we have chosen to lay our roots and home, as the area to help you reconnect to your essence and your innate connection to all our hills and valleys.

Everything we have planned for this weekend will be centred around bringing nature back to your soul, inviting in the messages our earth longs us to receive; The music of the trees, the songs of the soil, the movement of our being.

A weekend just for women. A powerful and beautiful force when we circle together, we will be embracing the healing power of sisterhood with deep discussions or simple chit chat over crafting.

Expect meditative dips in the river, guided hikes across the hills, gentle philosophical talks and guidance, story tales and poetry by the fire, birdsong, beautiful music and singing, rising and sleeping with the sunrise and sunset as we reconnect to the natural circadian rhythm. This retreat is designed for those who are feeling more and more connected to themselves and nature, or who want to and feel that pull. We are nature itself, yet the modern world encourages us to forget this.

We want to provide a space surrounded in the hills of where your facilitators live, embraced in the hug of the Welsh hills and valleys. Nestled is an eco-retreat equip with luxury glamping spaces.

All classes and workshops will be centred around nature and your soul. This is all to for you to enjoy a weekend of stress-free ease with plenty of downtime. Most importantly, no pressure. You will be around like-minded souls to truly feel understood and listened to. Although there is a loose agenda, we also encourage you to feel free to dip in and out of what you want to do.

With 2 experienced retreat faciliators specialising in different areas, while sharing a kindered spirit and mission in life, we will have plenty for you to decide what feels right for you.

These spaces are very limited so we recommend you either lock down your spot now or email us to share your interest.

You might also find that you get a lot out of your fellow participants. It’s quite powerful talking with an old or new friend in this setting and really being heard and understood. They might even have new techniques or contacts that are just perfect for you. We have certainly seen the blossoming of life-long friends from attending retreats.

At the same time, if you preference is to sit back and observe and simply take it all and keep to yourself then we would nurture and respect that and never make you involve or speak up in any situation.

The Retreat Leaders

A collaboration of hearts. Into the Wild Retreat with Melody and Nic. We met during lockdown, somehow over the waves we were destined to meet. It was an instant connection, made stronger by our first meeting at Nic's sound healing when we came out of lockdown, and hugged. We knew right there that there was a soul connection, having journeyed into the world of empathic energy throughout our lives. As time went on, we truly felt the trust and heart-based work we were doing in the world. With this, we knew we would make magic together and have been working with each other and attending each other's events ever since. Now, we finally come to bring our love to you together, hearts merging to bring our shared mission, with our unique passions to you, for you, with love.

Nicola Wagstaff

Nicola is the owner of Inspire - Rewire and she wants to help you connect back to your natural habitat! Outside but with shelter, warmth and good food, good company and leave with your heart full. Nic lives in the local area and since moving here has felt like this is her home and wants to share this healing space with you.

Nic left her corporate career in built-up Dubai to live a simpler life and focus on her own healing. In doing so she retrained as a yoga teacher, Hypnotherapist, NLP Coach, Reiki Master - to name a few. Her passion is to inspire others to find theirs and step out of their own way, focusing on setting boundaries and as a ‘head-based’ person, truly believes in the healing power of nature and grounding back into the earth for balancing the higher chakras with the lower. Nic will be talking on subjects that help us to find out more about our individual true nature in accepting ourselves and being exactly who we are supposed to be.

Melody is a huge advocate for using movement in healing, her daily mantra being "Movement is medicine". A qualified practitioner of movement in many disciplines she specialises in helping people reconnect with the power, grace and strength in their bodies. She is unique in her teaching style, blending all that she knows and learns with the individuals in front of her.
Weaving the power of restoration and intentional movement together in such a vibrant way that you will believe and know that you are capable of anything.
Melody has found much comfort and clarity being in nature, and having moved into the Wilds to renovate an ancient Welsh cottage with her husband, laying roots here has offered her a profound sense of grounding. And also just like Nic, feels called to share the magic of these lands with others.

The Venue

The Forge provides a space for people to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature, by staying in our eco-glamping accommodation and immersing themselves in one of our many courses and events, which we host throughout the year. Founded on the principles of sustainability and rewilding, helping others to rekindle a love and appreciation for the natural world is at the heart of everything we do. The Forge opened in 2018 with just “three tents in a field”, for people to come and enjoy an introduction to glamping. We soon realised that people were fascinated by our vision to live more sustainably and to restore our beautiful little corner of Wales to its former natural beauty. We also realised that after the global pandemic of 2020, people were desperate for a safe place to be outside with friends and family and needed space to focus on their mental health and wellbeing.he Forge provides a space for people to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature, by staying in our eco-glamping accommodation and immersing themselves in one of our many courses and events, which we host throughout the year.

Facilities

Each tent had a double and two single beds and can be set up as a twin, triple or for 4 people. We will be suggesting 2 people per tent, but if you would like to share 3 then please let us know and we can look at a slight reduction for that. Each tent has it’s own composting loo plus a camp kitchen.  There is also a communal compost loo between the main cabin and the showers, and another next to the gypsy caravan. There are two hot showers in the main field, each has its own separate little cabin room.
